Software Engineer (Java)

We’re looking for a Software Engineer (Java) to join us at Telia. 

I’m Mantas Šegžda, Head of newly established TechOps team in Lithuania and looking for a skilled Java Software Engineer. TechOps team collaborates internationally with experienced colleagues and partners, who have built and currently maintain the Service Hub - Telia’s internal integration and feature add-on platform.  

What You’Ll Do:

You will work on feature development, system integrations, and operational readiness, ensuring smooth migrations and high‑quality deliverables. This role involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and customer‑focused software.  

Our main tech stack includes, but is not limited to: 

• Backend and frameworks: Java 21/23, Spring Boot, Java EE (Jakarta EE), WildFly. 
• Architecture and APIs: Microservices Architecture, REST APIs. 
• Data and processing: MySQL, Hibernate Search, Spring Batch. 
• Tests: JUnit Jupiter (JUnit 5), Mockito, Spring Boot Test, Testcontainers. 
• Infrastructure and deployment: Docker, GitHub Actions for CI/CD & IaC, Kubernetes. 
• Additional technologies: SIP Protocol (Jain SIP in some microservices), Kotlin (legacy backend support), Quarkus & Vert.x (for some services).

• Professional experience (5+ years) in Java software development.

• Hands-on experience with containerization and deployment practices.
• Proficiency in English language (verbal and written).

Monthly salary range for this position 3500-6400 Eur (gross) + annual performance bonuses. The final offer may vary depending on skills and experience.
