About The Job

Acting as a senior scrum master within the Digital GBU Agile & Service Excellence organization, they play a critical role in working with Product Owners on critical commercial products.

Main Responsibilities:

• Serves as a servant leader and coach for a Pod/s.
• Works with Product Owners and Development teams on daily basis to drive execution.
• Helps steer team to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Helps the Product Owner in his efforts to manage the backlog and guide the team while facilitating a healthy team dynamic with respect to priorities and scope.
• Facilitates pod ceremonies throughout each sprint (daily standup, sprint planning, sprint demos, retrospectives, and backlog refinements)
• Promotes and secures the right usage of principles, rules and practices of agile development.
• Educates the Pod in Scrum and, where relevant, Agile at scale practices.

They will be directly reporting to Head of DGBU Agile & Service Excellence.

About You

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent certification required. Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or Certified Scrum Coach (CSC) is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master preferably in the life sciences industry.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
• Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Proven success in coaching Product Owners and teams to scale products across multiple countries and stakeholders. 
• Track-record of success as a Scrum Master/Agile Coach in complex environments. 
• Experience in working and domain knowledge relevant to commercial products. 
• Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
