Recreation Director – Full Time
Hillcrest Health & Living is currently seeking a full-time Recreation Director for our Hillcrest Country Estates location in Papillion, NE.

What are my responsibilities?
• Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of recreational and leisure programming for residents and guests
• Supervise, mentor, and schedule Recreation Leaders and volunteers to ensure high-quality programming
• Design monthly activity calendars that meet diverse physical, cognitive, and social needs
• Collaborate with nursing and other departments to integrate therapeutic and person-centered activities into daily care
• Plan and coordinate special events, holiday celebrations, and community outings
• Manage department budget and supplies while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff, fostering a vibrant and inclusive community environment
What do I need to be successful?
• High school diploma required; degree in recreation, therapeutic recreation, or a related field preferred
• Prior leadership experience in recreation/activities within senior living or healthcare required
• Strong organizational and supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively
• Creativity, energy, and passion for engaging seniors in meaningful ways
• Knowledge of state/federal regulations related to activities in senior care preferred
• Must meet background check and health clearance requirements
