Teaching Assistant

We have exceptional outdoor spaces including a very large playing field and tarmac playground, as well as sensory garden, vegetable garden, willow walk and pond. The school has a committed and very active Parent, Teacher & Friends Association who raise funds for us and the Padstow community is also very keen to support the school. 

We have a vacancy for a Teaching Assistant to work 18 hours per week, term time plus 2 INSET days on a fixed term basis until 31st August 2026. The successful candidate will be able to use their own initiative as well as being a team player with a solution focused mindset. All Teaching Assistants work closely with children with SEND and will be flexible to work across all year groups as needed, including EYFS.

We are committed to safeguarding children and the successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and will be assessed against the Childcare Disqualification Regulations.
