About The Role

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Web Developer with proven expertise in building enterprise-scale web applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience across modern web technologies, a deep understanding of SQL, and the ability to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions. This is a contract, senior-level role that combines advanced technical skills with leadership, problem-solving, and architectural vision. This is a 1099 independent contractor position; compensation will be reported on Form 1099, not on a W-2.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications using jQuery, Bootstrap, JavaScript, .NET Framework 4.8.1, .NET Core, C#, Blazor, MVC, RESTful APIs, and SQL (stored procedures, views).
• Lead the development and support of our Court Services public website, ensuring usability, security, and performance.
• Integrate with payment provider and electronic document certification solutions.
• Architect scalable and secure back-end services and APIs to support mission-critical operations.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver robust end-to-end solutions.
• Mentor other developers, conduct code reviews, and establish technical best practices.
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability at every stage of the development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on Microsoft web technologies.
• Mastery of C#, .NET (Framework 4.8.1 & Core), Blazor, MVC, jQuery, Bootstrap, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, and SQL (stored procedures, views, optimization).
• Demonstrated success in designing and deploying secure, high-availability web applications.
• Hands-on experience with integration processes and enterprise-level systems.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to deliver on time, on scope, and on budget.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with public sector or court services systems.
• Familiarity with Power BI for reporting and data visualization.
• Exposure to generative AI, machine learning, or automation frameworks.
• Relevant technical certifications in C#, .NET, or web technologies.
• Prior experience leading small development teams or mentoring peers.
