WSP in the Middle East are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Government Relations Manager_Saudi National, to join our growing team in Riyadh, KSA. 

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated Saudi national to lead key government relations functions while working in a collaborative, high-performance environment.

Team Leadership: Independently manage relationships with senior stakeholders while guiding and supporting junior team members across related functions.

Company Licenses & Registration: Manage and maintain all company licenses and registrations with local authorities, ensuring timely renewals and full compliance.

Visa & Iqama Management: Oversee all employee visa and Iqama processes, including onboarding, renewals, and extensions.

Qiwa Employment Contracts: Administer employment contracts via the Qiwa system, ensuring alignment with current labor laws and regulations.

Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure full adherence to Saudi labor laws and evolving government regulations.

Policy Development: Develop and update internal policies and procedures related to employee management, visa processing, and regulatory compliance.

Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between WSP and government authorities, managing official communications, approvals, and inquiries.

Government Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key government entities to support the company’s regulatory positioning and public reputation.

Employee Database Management: Maintain and update the organization’s employee database, ensuring data accuracy and integrity for all government relations (GR) processes.

Reporting & Documentation: Produce and submit regular reports on all GR-related activities and ensure timely delivery of any ad hoc reports requested by management. Provide accurate documentation, reporting, and data management with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Industry Awareness: Stay up to date with the latest government relations trends, platform updates (e.g., Qiwa, GOSI, Muqeem), and best practices to continuously improve internal processes.

Labor Dispute Resolution: Support the resolution of labor-related cases in compliance with Saudi labor law and company policy.

Saudi National with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.  

Minimum of 8 years’ experience in government relations, public affairs, or a similar role—preferably within the engineering, construction, or consulting sectors. 

Strong track record of independently managing internal and external stakeholders, including cross-functional teams and government bodies. 

The ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-moving, high-demand environment. 

Deep understanding of Saudi governmental systems, labor laws, and regulatory frameworks.  

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for efficient data and process management.  

High level of professionalism and discretion in handling legal and regulatory matters.
