Pay Range: $22.19 - $29.57Responsible for underwriting all types of indirect loan applications. Informs Dealer personnel of loan decisions while providing details of conditions. Complies with all regulations and guidelines. Answers questions that pertain to policy and procedure of Indirect Lending. Responsible for building and maintaining good Dealer relationships.

Education And Experience:

  • Prior banking experience preferred
  • College degree desired but not required

Skills And Abilities:

  • PC skills in Windows environment
  • Basic Accounting
  • Indirect Lending Loan policy, products and procedure
  • Knowledge of Automotive industry
  • Self motivated with strong communication, negotiating, organizational and interpersonal skills

Unique Job Characteristics And Requirements:

FIS Originate (Loan Origination System) Fi- Serv CBS (Core Data System)

Tasks Performed:

  • 70% Determines which requests for financing from the Dealer Network should be accepted, rejected, or conditionally accepted, using all applicable information reasonably available. Maintain a loan portfolio within the guidelines established by the bank in regards to Charge off and Delinquency. Be able to process specified number of applications per day with in the target time for turnaround, always complying with State and Federal regulations, bank policy, and department guidelines and practices
  • 10% Builds and maintains relationships with dealerships and other customers by providing prompt, courteous, and reliable services.
  • 10% Other duties as assigned.
  • 5% Keeps the Department Manager aware of issues and ways of improving efficiencies and procedures within the Department and Bank.
  • 5% Recognize and take advantage of opportunities to obtain additional business.

Physical Requirements:

  • Communicate effectively with internal and/or external customers
  • Stationary 75% of time or greater
  • Move Objects to Maximum 10 lbs
