Must live in a state that has an operating Mister Car Wash.

An Installation Technician travels to locations throughout the United States to lead equipment upgrades and new location tunnel conversions. In close partnership with the Operations Leadership, the Installation Technician addresses high-priority projects and new technology launches both in their local markets and on the road. The position requires a complete understanding of the company’s culture, priorities, and deadlines to keep the store equipment running optimally.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Perform tunnel repairs and new equipment installs
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and test electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, and pneumatic issues
• Read and interpret manuals, work orders, schematics, and other documentation related to equipment
• Operation of hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other equipment as needed
• Comply with all safety guidelines, procedures, and PPE use at all times
• Follow all appearance, uniform, and grooming standards
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Management team
• Minimum of 75% out of market travel
• Three days working in-market during non-travel weeks
WHAT YOU NEED:
• Minimum 2 years moderate to advanced level experience breakdown industrial and production maintenance preferred
• Proficient experience in 4 out of 6 of the following core competencies:
◦ Electrical
◦ Mechanical aptitude
◦ Hydraulics
◦ Welding
◦ Pneumatics
◦ Plumbing
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and e-mail platforms
• Positive attitude with the ability to be flexible and adopt new processes and procedures
• Comfortable working independently and as a team
• Work efficiently and effectively juggling multiple projects
• Strong time management abilities, and experience in planning and troubleshooting
• Flexible in working nights, weekends, off-production hours, and on-call
• Work with honesty, integrity and ethical conduct
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and in a variety of weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, twist, perform repetitive motions, see variations in color, and to climb and work from ladders
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and ability to pass a criminal background check
