Director, Procurement
SUMMARY:
The Procurement Director is responsible for managing all aspects of the strategic procurement process such as category management, sourcing & vendor selection, negotiations & contracting, vendor onboarding and contract compliance. This process will be across a wide array of categories including Technology (Hardware, Software, Services), Professional Services, HR, Marketing, Real Estate, Facilities, Travel and Administration. The focal point of the role will be to closely partner with a fast-growing technology organization to drive strategic initiatives forward in a cost-effective way.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and support category strategy and review process in partnership with applicable Kestra Holdings teams
• Performs spend and usage analysis from a variety of data sources, including supplier provided data
• Present analysis, both qualitative and quantitative, to functional leadership and key stakeholders prior to gain buy in and approvals
• Hold periodic review meetings with business owners to identify and drive savings focusing on total cost of ownership
• Hold periodic review meetings with major suppliers to review contracts, service levels, and opportunities for additional savings
• Work with legal, cybersecurity, accounts payables team to streamline vendor onboard/offboard processes
• Work with finance teams to ensure adherence to annual budgets
• Conduct market analysis and exploration on new prospective suppliers
• Prepare and organize bid packages in collaboration with business stakeholders
• Document standardized procurement & sourcing processes
• Track and report procurement metrics to internal stakeholders/leadership
• Manage and organize existing supplier contracts, including tracking of key dates
SKILLS:
• Proven in-depth knowledge of indirect sourcing and procurement principles and industry best practices
• Strong negotiator with proven ability in setting negotiation strategies and conducting negotiations
• Strong analytical skills including the ability to quickly evaluate and draw conclusions on large amounts of disparate data
• Ability to lead collaboration and influence diverse stakeholders
• Ability to explain and promote solutions with a focus on total-cost-of-ownership, program transition costs, and ease of implementation
• Exceptional, proven project and team leadership and development skills
• Advanced level skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word
• Excellent communication including written, verbal, and listening skills
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ability to mentor procurement analysts to enhance skillsets and drive results
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 8+ years in category management, procurement or sourcing roles
• Experience in financial services industry
• Experience in indirect procurement categories specifically technology (software, hardware and services)
• Experience with ERPs, procurement/sourcing tools and contract tools
