Buswest is looking for a New School Bus Sales Representative responsible for prospecting and generating new bus sales and developing and maintaining excellent customer relationships with existing clients.
Essential Duties:
• Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of busses and pricing
• Reviews inventory on a daily basis
• Identifies leads, manages prospects and acquires new business
• Meets or exceeds new business sales goals
• Completes prospecting activities to secure first and follow up appointment with decision makers
• Prepares and delivers proposals/presentations to customers and key decision makers
• Prepares and drafts sales agreements and other paperwork needed to complete the sale in a timely manner
• Introduces customers and prospective customers to VVG financing department
• Develops and maintains an awareness of the market behavior and competitive trends and responds accordingly
• Ensures buses are ready, repaired, clean and presentable for purchasing customer
• Build and maintain strong business relationships with Arizona school districts
Required Qualifications:
• Must present and communicate in a professional manner
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be organized with good time management skills
• Possesses proven analytical/problem solving skills for the customer and company
• Computer proficiency
• Previous sales experience in the trucking/bus industry
• Experience in developing and executing sales strategies
• Possesses strong presentation, negotiation and closing skills
• Must have valid driver’s license and a good driving record
• CDL Class B required (or must be obtained within 12 months of hire)
Compensation:
• $75K$150K/year depending on experience and qualifications
• Plus Commission
• Full Time position
