What You'Ll Do…
- Lead and manage multiple feature development activities, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project plans.
- Develop and maintain detailed program plans and schedules.
- Ensure alignment between the IVI software engineers, hardware engineers, system engineers, testing engineers and product managers throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage dependencies for the engineering team including manufacturing, ADAS, body controllers and multimedia.
- Provide guidance to the Multimedia team, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Lead internal bug triage meetings where next steps of all open issues are identified and assigned.
- Coordinate with other teams, including development, product management, and operations, to align on-board Multimedia activities with overall project goals.
- Communicate program status, progress, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management.
- Manage relationship with external vendors, hardware team, ADAS team and Control team.
- Drive closure to key issues by working with development teams and other TPMs.
- Analyze defect trends and patterns and recommend process improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement of Multimedia processes and methodologies, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
You'Ll Have…
- Master's degree in engineering, Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in project, program or product management in software.
- 5+ years of experience in software development or testing.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong domain knowledge of automotive audio, multimedia or similar areas
- Experience with automotive massive production process and end-to-end product launch
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance practices
- Experience working on embedded software systems on automotive space
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to create and manage detailed project plans.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Confluence, JIRA).
- Proficiency in collaboration and requirements tools (e.g. Jama)
