Purpose of this Role:
This role aims to identify potential customers, understand their training needs and effectively
communicate how the academy’s programs can help them achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and target potential individuals for the training academy's programs.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
• Conduct thorough research on potential students to understand their specific training and development requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with individual learners for repeat business or referrals.
• Conduct presentations and demonstrations of the training academy's programs, showcasing how they can address the individual’s specific needs.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contractual agreements, and successfully close sales.
• Collaborate with the Operations teams to ensure that programs meet or exceed student’s expectations.
• Meet and exceed sales targets, revenue goals, receivables and performance metrics set by the Team Leader.
• Provide post-sales support and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
• Handle class coordination, student queries
• A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, marketing, or education.
• Proven experience in sales, ideally in the training and education industry.
• Effective negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software.
• Willingness to travel as necessary for client meetings and events.
• A deep understanding of the training academy's programs and their alignment with Student needs.
• knowledge of training and development programs and their impact on individuals and organizations.
• Technical Competencies
1. Product Knowledge:
Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of the academy's training programs, courses, and their benefits.
Able to explain how the academy's offerings align with client needs and goals.
2. Sales Skills:
Exhibits strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
Effectively uses sales techniques to identify client needs, present solutions, and close deals.
Demonstrates proficiency in objection handling and objection resolution.
3. CRM and Technology:
Proficiently uses Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and other sales tools.
Embraces technology to streamline sales processes and reporting.
