This position is a member of our Coastal and East Area Texas Division.
Here’S What You’Ll Be Doing
- Conducts technical inspections, surveys, and follow-up investigations; prepares reports which documents field activities and observed conditions.
- Conducts environmental monitoring; and prepares technical papers regarding studies involving environmental subjects.
- Provides technical assistance to the public, regulated community, and other interested groups regarding the application of appropriate regulations.
- Assists with collecting and analyzing environmental samples.
Key Qualifications
- Experience interpreting rules, regulations, policies or procedures.
- Experience conducting environmental investigations.
- Experience or training in word processing and/ or database.
- Experience preparing technical papers (such as investigation reports and/ or research papers.
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, with a major in a natural or physical science, engineering, environmental studies, or related field generally preferred, but not required. OR
Four years of full-time experience in the field of environmental activities directly related to the examples of work performed.

Work Schedule
Standard business hours are M-F, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Individual and work group schedule determined by the TCEQ Beaumont Region Office.
