Director Assistant & Chief Of Staff – GSM
The Global Supply Management (GSM) team helps colleagues engage the right third parties to meet business needs while also managing third-party risk for the Enterprise. The organization is comprised of several diverse global teams: Strategic Sourcing and Business Enablement (SSBE), Payment Strategy and Operations (PS&O), and the Third-Party Center of Excellence. The Director Assistant will be a key member of the GSM Leadership Team and the GSM Executive Office, leading business planning and operational processes, colleague initiatives, and special projects for the office. This role partners closely with CEG, CA&C, and the GSM leadership team to manage day-to-day business priorities, strategic results, and broader needs of the team.
Working closely with the Senior Vice President of GSM, the successful candidate will have global exposure as well as interaction with colleagues at all levels of the organization, both within GSM and more broadly in Enterprise Shared Services (ESS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Own global initiatives across the organization examples of which include, annual Planning, ongoing support of GSM strategy materials, performance management/talent review processes, OPEX and budgeting, Colleague Engagement, etc.
- Identifying key priorities, focus areas and operational trends as a key member of the GSM Leadership Team.
- Coordinating staff meetings and Business Unit Reviews, capturing key messages and managing follow-up as required.
- Partnering with Finance, Communications and CEG to oversee general team management activities.
- Organizing town halls, market visits and rewards & recognition moments for the organization.
- Leading and/or supporting strategic and confidential projects.
- Oversee the GSM Executive Office, partnering with MAs/DAs/VPAs/and Executive Assistants as needed
- Minimum Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Energetic, organized, curious, self-motivated, proactive and able to work in an unstructured environment.
- Superior written and verbal, and visual communication skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, in particular PowerPoint and Excel and a demonstrated ability to learn new technologies / systems as necessary.
- Superior project management skills and ability to prioritize, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, and collaborate.
- High level of integrity and respect for confidentiality; able to handle highly sensitive information with unwavering discretion.
- Ability to deliver results in a sophisticated, multi-cultural, matrixed environment, leading through influence, persuasion and expertise with limited direct authority
- Track record of remaining calm under pressure, with the resilience to adjust and adapt when faced with constantly evolving priorities
- Outstanding relationship building skills - ability to build and maintain strong relationships globally.
- Prior experience managing large budgets with an understanding of finance and accounting principles.
- Ability to travel, including internationally, as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Salary Range: $130,000.00 to $205,000.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefits
