Brief Job Description:

As Strategy Planning Manager you will provide critical support doing tasks given by global and regional executive teams, primarily focusing on strategic activities, ensuring coordination and alignment within the Infrastructure Solutions regional and global team. This is a broad & challenging role, both connecting the dots across various change initiatives and double-clicking on the most critical projects. In this role you will need a process improvement mindset, ability to listen and address specific problems, articulate solutions, and coordinate different projects. The ability to influence others and obtain business buy-in are critical to being successful in this role.

Responsibilities and Measurement Criteria with Time investment Needed on Each: - 

  • Handling Mechanical commodities like Sheet Metal, Racks, Busbar, Packaging, pumps, Evaporators, hardware, etc.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the company by effectively supporting management standards, operating models, coordinating projects and meetings, and facilitating communication across various teams
  • Align and coordinate strategy tasks (regional and global)
  • Lead and coordinate preparation of regional and global reports (MBR, QBR)
  • Lead meetings (weekly, monthly) and discussions with various regions and local departments with focus on specific problems and/or improvements
  • Provide expert support, analysis, and research into complex problems and processes 
  • Maintain a strong focus on execution of delivery of short-term results while moving toward the long-term vision
  • Nurture a culture of continuous improvement, best practice sharing and process standardization and align with other regions and LOB’s where possible
  • Identifies gaps in performance versus best practices and works with all levels of the organization in establishing and executing a plan for improvement. Assists with assessment and documentation of the current state, development of the ideal future state process and drives and monitors the implementation plan.

Qualifications:

Required/ Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: MBA degree in Economics and Business or a related discipline. Certifications such as PMP are a plus.
  • Work Experience: 5-10 years of experience. Worked in an international and culturally diverse organization.

Additional / Preferred Qualifications:

  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; other languages are a plus. Good communicator, confident in interacting with all levels of individuals across a variety of internal/external functions.
  • Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze data, make informed decisions, and solve complex problems. Good attention to details.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced experience with ERP financial applications (Oracle preferred). Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (experience in Power BI preferred).
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a positive team dynamic. Strong, proven business partnering mentality; has the maturity and awareness to strike the right balance between facilitating and challenging the business. 
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and guide a team. Proven ability to influence others. Strong experience in building compelling business cases, and appropriate persistence that shapes the opinions of stakeholders; position proposals by linking to others’ needs and concerns.
  • Adaptability: Can adapt to change and navigate uncertainty. Ability to effectively manage time and resources against agreed deadlines for activities. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects.
  • Ethical Judgment: Demonstrated ethical decision-making and integrity.
  • Networking Skills: The ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and other industry professionals.
