KPMG Delivery Network (KDN) is seeking a Product Owner to join its AI Foundry. You will play a pivotal role in leading and supporting agile teams, ensuring efficient and effective execution of AI projects. 

Key Responsibilities Include:

      Product Vision & Strategy

  • Define and articulate the product vision and strategy for AI initiatives aligned with KPMG’s business goals.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for AI product innovation and differentiation.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business value and feasibility.
AI Product Lifecycle Management
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of AI products from ideation and development to deployment and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to ensure AI models are effectively integrated into products.
  • Manage product backlogs, write detailed user stories, and define acceptance criteria to guide development teams.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and executive leadership, to gather requirements and feedback.
  • Facilitate regular communication between stakeholders and the product development team to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Present product updates, roadmaps, and performance metrics to stakeholders and leadership.
Agile Product Development
  • Lead agile product development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure timely delivery of product features and enhancements by managing priorities and removing obstacles for the development team.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment focused on continuous improvement and innovation.

User Experience & Design

  • Work with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for AI products.
  • Ensure that AI solutions are designed with the end-user in mind, focusing on usability and accessibility.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of AI products.
  • Analyze product performance data to identify areas for improvement and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Implement feedback loops to continuously enhance product features and functionality based on user insights.
Compliance & Ethical AI
  • Ensure that all AI products comply with relevant regulations, data privacy laws, and KPMG’s ethical guidelines for AI.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address any ethical considerations related to AI deployments.
Continuous Learning & Innovation
  • Stay abreast of the latest AI trends, technologies, and best practices to inform product development and strategy.
  • Encourage a culture of innovation within the product team, promoting the exploration of new AI methodologies and tools.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.

Work Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, preferably within AI/ML or technology-driven environments.
  • Proven track record of managing AI or technology products from conception to launch.
  • Experience working in agile development environments and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant certifications in product management (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, PMI-ACP) are advantageous.
  • Certifications in AI/ML technologies or data science are a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation skills for effectively sharing product vision, updates, and performance metrics.
  • Focus on creating products that deliver exceptional user experiences and meet user needs.
  • Ability to incorporate user feedback and insights into enhancements.
