WHY JOIN US
If you're looking for a place to grow, make an impact, and work with people who care, we'd love to meet you!
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a QA/SDET Engineer, you’ll take ownership of building and driving a modern testing culture from the ground up. This role goes beyond traditional QA — you’ll design and evolve automated testing frameworks, guide developers in adopting a shift-left approach, and ensure quality is integrated throughout the entire development lifecycle. By combining your Python expertise with a passion for testing excellence, you’ll play a key role in delivering reliable, scalable software that makes an impact.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Become the first QA/SDET in the team and define how we approach testing;
- Drive the testing infrastructure and ensure high-quality standards across our product;
- Mentor and support developers to take ownership of their own testing;
- Collaborate closely with engineers to co-own and write automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end, performance);
- Promote a “shift-left” QA mindset, embedding testing throughout the development process rather than leaving it as a final stage;
- Continuously improve our testing practices, tools, and processes to increase efficiency and reliability.
MUST HAVES
- 4+ years of experience as a Python engineer building production systems;
- Proven track record in designing and implementing automated testing frameworks (unit, integration, end-to-end, and performance/load testing);
- Product-focused mindset with curiosity about the bigger picture;
- Proactive, takes ownership, and responsible for outcomes;
- Bias for action: able to quickly test, iterate, and make decisions without getting stuck;
- Ability to thrive in a fully remote, collaborative environment with honesty and radical candor;
- Full overlap with Central European Time or at least 6+ hours;
- Upper-Intermediate English level.
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience with Python web frameworks (Django, FastAPI);
- Frontend testing or front-end framework experience (Vue.js, React);
- Early-stage startup experience;
- Experience building with LLMs or agentic AI systems;
- Leadership experience;
- Scrappy mindset: focus on delivering business value over unnecessary perfection.
PERKS AND BENEFITS
- Professional growth: Accelerate your professional journey with mentorship, TechTalks, and personalized growth roadmaps.
- Competitive compensation: We match your ever-growing skills, talent, and contributions with competitive USD-based compensation and budgets for education, fitness, and team activities.
- A selection of exciting projects: Join projects with modern solutions development and top-tier clients that include Fortune 500 enterprises and leading product brands.
- Flextime: Tailor your schedule for an optimal work-life balance, by having the options of working from home and going to the office – whatever makes you the happiest and most productive.
