Description:
IU Health Centralized Compounding in Plainfield, IN is seeking a full-time pharmacist to support compounding services across the IU Health system, serving both inpatient and outpatient facilities. This position operates within a closed-door environment and involves sterile compounding—including parenteral nutrition and anticipatory batch preparations—as well as nonsterile and repackaging activities. Key responsibilities include direct oversight and supervision of compounding processes, creating and maintaining master formulation and compounding records, and ensuring compliance with USP standards and institutional policies.
- Requires Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor's of Science in Pharmacy prior to 2006.
- Successful completion of an ASHP accredited PGY1 or PGY2 residency may be required.
- Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.
- Requires current Indiana Pharmacist license or eligibility for Indiana licensure as a Pharmacist.
- Board certification or other specialized training may be required.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) may be required.
- May require travel to IU Health facilities.
- May require weekend rotations.
