Job Description

Due to the continued growth of King and Moffatt Building Services, we are now looking to hire a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to provide maintenance support on a number of our existing projects across the central belt region of Ireland.

Job Description:

• Responsible for completing a range of Planned Preventive Maintenance Tasks and Inspections on hot and cold water systems Heating systems Air Handling Units (AHU), Fan Coil Units (FCU) Ventilation and mechanical plant.
• Diagnose and repair faults in plumbing and mechanical systems
• Carry out minor installations, shutdowns, and quoted works.
• Ensure we maintain effective communication with the clients site engineering team.
• Produce weekly reports for the FM supervisor detailing site activities and plans.
• Maintain Mechanical plant services to industry standards.
• Schedule subcontractor visits and ensure adherence to client security protocols.
• Ensure statutory engineering maintenance documentation is maintained and accessible.
• Oversee completion of PPMs and Client Service Requests in line with SLA’s.
• Ensure compliance with audit requirements and review site SOPs, ERA’s, and scenario training.
• Adhere to King & Moffatt QHSE procedures and implement improvements identified during inspections.
• Be part of call out rota
• Directly accountable to the King & Moffatt FM Supervisor/Manager/Co Ordinator.
• Flexibility in service delivery around client needs

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hands-on, mechanical maintenance role/Plumbing 
• Experience of Fan Coil Units, Air Handling Units, pump and boiler maintenance
• Full drivers license
