Job title: Campaign Manager – International Business Development

Location: Christchurch/Frimley/Guildford. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements. Please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role

Salary: £67,800+ depending on skills and experience

What You’Ll Be Doing:

  • Directs all aspects of the large and/or less complex and strategically important captures, and winning the order in line with the specified terms and margin target, for a specific opportunity. Specifically:
  • Directs development and implementation of the capture plan encompassing Win Strategy, Price to Win etc
  • Develops the business case for continuing to pursue and bidding the opportunity including capture budget and plans/uses all relevant LCM reviews and approvals
  • Leads customer requirement influencing strategy, requirement interpretation and solution option generation including make/buy and partnering /teaming strategy
  • Leads stakeholder management at all appropriate levels across multiple organisations and keeps the Business Leadership Team informed and engaged, including timely escalation of issues needing resolution
  • Defines customer relationship management strategy and engages senior company executives in contact activity. Utilises customer review data to truly understand customer perceptions and support capture activity
  • Ensures smooth hand-over to Project Manager for delivery phase
  • Engages internal stakeholders and secures support, buy-in and bid approvals for the solution(s)

Your Skills And Experiences:

Essential:

  • Extensive business winning experience and a deep understanding of business winning behaviours, processes, procedures and industry best practice
  • Considerable experience in leading, managing and delivering strategically important and high value campaigns/captures
  • Experience of engaging senior stakeholders, particularly customers, and the ability to build mutually beneficial relationships
  • Demonstrable experience of managing teams directly/virtually
  • Very good knowledge of our products and services

Desirable:

  • Qualified to degree standard or equivalent
  • Requires a detailed knowledge of Nato and Europe in which the role operates as well as a deep understanding of other areas within the function drawing on their skills where required
  • Significant experience with government defence acquisition agencies, both UK and international would be beneficial
