Job Summary:

Coordinates documents and gathers and inputs data related to assigned administrative support duties for a team, department, function or other organizational leader/group. Completes work with a limited degree of supervision.

We are looking for a talented onsite Administrative Associate to join our Team specializing in Service for our branch in Bakersfield, CA.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Provides administrative support by conducting research, preparing reports, and addressing routine to complex information requests.
  • Gathers, compiles, and verifies information; enters it accurately into documents (e.g. reports, presentations, forms) and systems (e.g. spreadsheets, databases).
  • Completes data collection, data entry, and report generation related to departmental activities.
  • Prepares correspondence, receives visitors, schedules meetings, and arranges conference calls.
  • Responds to or redirects inquiries from internal and external contacts with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Prepares documentation for vendor/supplier payments, enters requests into accounting systems, and handles related inquiries.
  • Maintains departmental policies and procedures documentation.
  • Participates in team-based business improvement initiatives and projects.
  • Acts as an informal resource to newer or less experienced colleagues.
  • Performs additional administrative activities as needed, following established procedures.  

To be successful in this role you will need the following: 

  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally across all levels (in person, over the phone, and via email).
  • Proven organizational and planning abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, reporting, and scheduling tasks.
  • Process-driven mindset and comfort working with structured procedures and systems, including handling vendor payments and reconciling balances.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook; able to work with databases, spreadsheets, and accounting systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, offering support and guidance to colleagues when needed.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and accountability.
  • Analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to compile and present information clearly through reports or dashboards.
  • Familiarity with standard administrative practices such as preparing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and coordinating internal and external communications.
  • Please note, this is an onsite role at our Sales and Service Branch in Bakersfield, CA, Monday – Friday 8 AM – 5 PM.

  • Education, Licenses, Certifications: 
  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

  • Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

Compensation And Benefits

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate. Hourly pay range for this position is $29.18-43.80/hour, base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
