We’re the UK’s leading premium publisher, and the people behind iconic media brands such as Cosmopolitan, Esquire, ELLE, Harper’s Bazaar and Country Living. We’ve created a working environment that encourages everyone to pull together. We never stop looking for brave new ideas. We’ll always try to develop and improve, we trust each other to do our best, and we have fun as we build on our heritage to make history.

The Role

This is a rare opportunity to step into the heart of two of the world’s most iconic fashion brands, Harper’s Bazaar and Elle. As Fashion Assistant, you’ll play a key role in bringing our fashion pages to life - from managing editorial credits and supporting the Fashion Director to ensuring our valued advertiser relationships shine through. You’ll support the fashion team in navigating the industry’s busiest calendar, helping to coordinate the team diary for press days and launches, and requesting LFW tickets as directed, along with other ad-hoc scheduling and coordination tasks.

Main Duties

  • Support the production of standout fashion content across Harper’s Bazaar and Elle.
  • Work closely with the Fashion Director and commercial team to deliver accurate editorial credits and nurture advertiser partnerships.
  • Manage the fashion team diary, ensuring the team is across press days, launches, and major fashion week moments.
  • Pull together the weekly fashion calendar and circulate it with confidence and flair.
  • Act as a point of contact for PRs, working alongside the wider team to help secure attendance at key advertiser and industry events, ensuring the fashion team is well represented and supported across press days, launches, fashion weeks, and similar occasions.
  • Assist stylists with call-ins and play an active role on set for main fashion shoots.

About You

  • Motivated, organised, and dependable, with a deep appreciation of the Bazaar and Elle aesthetics.
  • Strong knowledge of current fashion trends, alongside established luxury and womenswear PR contacts.
  • Previous hands-on experience assisting stylists, managing call-ins, and working behind the scenes at shoots.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, flexible mindset.
  • A collaborative team player who is eager to grow, with a polished and friendly manner.
  • Previous fashion or luxury experience is essential.
