About The Team
At TikTok, our RD Mid-Platform engineering teams are the architects of our core technology. As the builders and problem-solvers responsible for the foundational systems that power our products, they directly shape the future of our platform.
As an HR Data Analyst, you will be a critical partner to our Global Corporate Functions teams, including Brand & Communications, Legal, and Public Policy. Serving as the analytical engine for these groups, your mission is to transform their raw people data into compelling narratives that guide leadership in making smarter, more effective talent decisions. We're looking for a curious and driven analyst, a natural storyteller who is passionate about finding the "why" behind the numbers and gets excited by complex challenges. If you're ready to directly influence the success of the teams that protect and support the TikTok mission, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Use data analysis, interviews, and research to deeply understand our RD and Corporate teams. Proactively identify talent trends, risks, and opportunities, presenting clear, data-backed recommendations to leadership.
- Design, build, and automate critical people analytics dashboards and reports. Your work will be the single source of truth for key metrics like headcount, hiring, attrition, and diversity & inclusion.
- Build strong partnerships with HR Business Partners, department leaders, and other stakeholders. You'll translate their complex business questions into analytical projects and deliver insights that drive meaningful action.
- Dive deep into ByteDance's HR systems to understand the root data logic. You'll help establish and refine our people analytics frameworks, ensuring our methods are robust, scalable, and cutting-edge.
- Juggle multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced, global matrix organization, consistently delivering high-quality work against tight deadlines.
