The Role

As a Backend .NET Developer at Solidicon, you will play a pivotal role in building the systems that power our gaming products. Your work will ensure seamless integration between the user-facing elements and the server-side infrastructure, shaping both the performance and reliability of our platforms.

What You’Ll Do:

Develop robust, scalable, and maintainable backend solutions using .NET (C#).

Collaborate with the Retail Team to design and implement features that enhance the gaming experience.

Contribute to frontend development when needed, using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS to deliver intuitive interfaces.

Take part in end-to-end development, from concept through deployment and maintenance.

Share insights on emerging technologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of our practices.

Primary Responsibilities

•  End-to-End Development – Drive the full software lifecycle: requirements gathering, solution design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Backend Engineering – Build robust, scalable, and maintainable server-side applications in .NET (C#).
• Frontend Integration – Collaborate on intuitive, responsive interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Database Management – Design and optimize MySQL (or similar SQL) databases with a focus on performance, integrity, and security.
• Collaboration – Partner with the Retail Team and stakeholders to align development with business goals and user needs.
• Continuous Improvement – Contribute to code quality, process enhancements, and adoption of emerging technologies.
• Problem-Solving – Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues across development and production environments.
• Scalability & Performance – Architect and implement backend systems capable of supporting growing traffic and data loads.
• Professional Growth – Stay current with industry trends and best practices in .NET and full-stack development.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of .NET experience, especially in C#, as it drives over 90% of our projects and is central to our future projects.
•  Proficiency with MySQL or similar SQL Databases.
•  Working knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript; expertise isn't a necessity but would be welcomed.
•  Experience in HTML and CSS.
•  Fluent in English, both written and spoken, as it's our primary office language.

Bonus Merits:

•  Familiar with scalable backend architecture.
•  Familiarity with CI/CD DevOps.
•  Experience with ASP.NET Blazor
•  Experience with frameworks such as React.js, Vue.js, or Angular.js.
•  A flair for UI/UX design.
• Test-driven development experience, especially in business-critical scenarios demanding meticulous testing prior to deployment.
•  Hands-on experience with game development frameworks like Unity or XNA/MonoGame.
