What you’ll be doing

Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Business Transformation, the Business Assurance Manager will be responsible for managing cross-functional programs in a matrix organisation covering a range of areas. The role requires a strong combination of strong business acumen, technology skills and program management and the individual needs to be a coach with sound judgement and influencing capabilities.

As a Business Assurance Manager, you are responsible for empowering cross-functional teams of executives, managers and individual contributors to deliver multiple concurring and complex transformational projects as you anticipate and mitigate risks, track and communicate timelines and highlight risk and/or non-compliance to the CEO and business leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple programs. Define milestones, success criteria, manage dependencies and deliver iteratively
  • Create and track detailed plans to deliver programme goals and ensure on-time delivery, including implementation plans and track progress against individual initiatives
  • Drive program schedules and requirements, identify possible issues and clearly communicate them to stakeholders
  • Ensure efficient resource availability and allocation across programs
  • Assess and mitigate risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance business needs versus technical and/or operational constraints to optimise risk taking and keep programs on track
  • Work closely with all program stakeholders to influence and secure resources against program plans
  • Develop and manage dashboards and analytics to monitor program performance indicators (KPIs) and Objectives and key results (OKRs)

You will help identify and work on how business operations can deliver Reapit’s group-wide priorities, to become more customer obsessed and competitive, and ensuring our people have the right tools to do their jobs.

  • Proven experience project managing complex projects and programmes in a fast-paced, matrixed environments (ideally in tech or fintech/proptech sectors).
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to align project goals to strategic objectives.
  • Excellent risk management, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally, with technical and non-technical teams.
  • A structured approach to delivery, with hands-on experience managing timelines, resources, and KPIs/OKRs.

Within 1 Month:

  • You’ve developed a deep understanding of PayProp’s operating model, cross-functional teams, and ongoing business transformation priorities.
  • You’re confidently tracking and reporting on at least one active programme using structured tools and communication cadences.
  • You’ve built strong working relationships with key stakeholders across tech, operations, and leadership.

Within 3 Months:

  • You are leading multiple business assurance initiatives with clear plans, KPIs, and status reporting.
  • You’ve proactively identified bottlenecks or risks across projects and successfully escalated or mitigated them.
  • You are a trusted point of contact for program governance, and your dashboards are being used by stakeholders for decision-making.

Within 6 Months:

  • You’ve delivered significant milestones across key transformation programmes, with measurable business impact.
  • Your influence has helped embed a culture of delivery, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • You are recognised by the leadership team as a critical enabler of operational excellence and strategic delivery.
