Are you looking for hands-on experience in research data management and educational design?
The Department of Biomedicine and Biotechnology (DTU Bioengineering) is committed to advancing research through effective data management practices. We are seeking a motivated and talented part timeassistant to join our team in developing a Research Data Management (RDM) Guidelines and Learning Platform with engaging and effective interactive learning materials. This role will involve researching and developing guidelines, designing a learning platform, and assisting in teaching data management to researchers and students.
The job
As a part time assistant, you will play a vital role in our data governance efforts, helping to develop tools that ensure compliance with data standards and facilitate collaboration across the department.
Responsibilities:
- Research and develop comprehensive guidelines for research data management (RDM).
- Design user-friendly learning materials on DTU Learn, Panopto, and other DTU-supported platforms.
- Ensure all materials comply with DTU and EU data standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with the team to develop interactive features that enhance user engagement and learning.
- Contribute to implementation of materials developed for teaching and evaluating RDM practice
Our expectations of you
We are looking for a motivated assistant with a strong interest in research and education. You should be eager to contribute to the development of learning materials and guidelines that support researchers in managing their data effectively, efficiently and in compliance with institutional and EU standards. We imagine that you are either currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Communication and digital media, Data Science and Management, Information Studies, Learning and IT, Library and Information Science or a related field), or alternatively have similar experience from prior jobs or personal projects.
Requirements:
- You have some experience with content creation and are comfortable developing engaging educational materials.
- Strong communication skills and can explain complex topics clearly and effectively.
- An understanding of data management practices
- You can work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- You are interested in research and passionate about developing educational resources that support the research community.

Salary and appointment terms
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC), or in accordance with multi-union collective agreement for the Organisations of Public Employees—Denmark (State) (OAO-S) and the trade union agreement for clerical staff etc. (HK/State)
The workplace is DTU Lyngby Campus. Working hours are on average 8 hours per week and can be organized flexibly in relation to holidays, exams, etc. The starting date is 1 November 2025, or by mutual agreement.
