Position Summary: Primarily responsible for promoting and selling entire mix of Polyglass products in his/her territory while developing relationships with distribution, consultants, contractors, and architects. In addition to meeting a monthly budgeted sales plan, the DSM will help forecast trends and acquire competitive information.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains existing sales and grow additional sales at current customer base under the direction of the RSL.
- Meets the assigned sales budget for the district.
- Attends regular sales and strategy events with key distribution partners.
- Actively prospects new distributors, contractors and specifiers.
- Explores project leads / opportunities that are in an assigned geographical sales district.
- Uses basic troubleshooting skills to handle day-to-day problem solving at assigned customers in sales district.
- Reports product problems, competitive activities, and new sales opportunities at existing accounts in sales district.
- Provides timely reports from the field.
- Effectively plans and organizes work to get efficient and effective results.
- Manages projects and achieves desired results efficiently and on time.
- Analyzes data and prepares reports.
- Performs other duties as required.
Requirements:
- A minimum of two - five years of industry experience as a sales representative or any equivalent combination of related training and experience is required.
- Required High School or equivalent completion. Bachelors' Degree preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
- Requires a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Minimum of 25% travel within assigned territory
