As a Data Security CSA, you will serve as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them design and implement robust data security solutions that protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with industry standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess risks, develop strategies, and guide organizations through complex security challenges. We are looking for a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA), specializing in Data Security who is passionate about driving our customers’ security & AI transformation on the Microsoft Platform. You will be a trusted advisor for customers attempting to secure their data against internal and external risks. This means you will work with technologies such as Data Loss Prevention, Information Protection, Insider Risk Management and DSPM/DSPM for AI to protect our customer's sensitive information in Microsoft 365 apps, services, endpoints and SaaS apps. This is a customer-facing role, owning the technical relationship between the customer and Microsoft, helping customers to leverage their Microsoft investments through architecture, implementation, and operational health engagements.

Responsibilities

• Drive positive customer satisfaction by being a trusted advisor. Provide feedback, best practices, insights, and connect with Global Security teams at Microsoft like engineering and Product teams to remove blockers and influence the solution roadmap.
• Be able to explain the end-to-end value proposition for Security strategies and methodologies (i.e., Zero Trust) which spans the breadth of Microsoft Security offerings and understand the role data security plays in these.
• You will position and deliver solutions that drive Security product usage as you develop opportunities to drive Customer Success business results & help customers get value from their Microsoft investments and identify resolutions to customer blockers by leveraging subject matter expertise. Deliver according to MS best practices & using repeatable IP whenever possible.
• You will accelerate Business Value of overall Security adoption by improving security posture and ensuring that the solution exhibits “Secure by Design” framework, such as high-performance levels, security, scalability, maintainability, appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment.
• You will run Architectural Design Sessions to build a plan for implementing the solution – governing design in line with customer business goals and their technical environment. Outcome is consensus on solution design and next steps toward production.
• Align your individual skilling to team/area demands and Customer Success goals and accelerate customer outcomes. Share your expertise to accelerate customer outcomes. 
• Collaborate and orchestrate with other Cloud Solution Architects and MS stakeholders including FastTrack, partners, and Microsoft Consulting in developing complex end-to-end enterprise solutions with the Microsoft Security platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND required years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
• OR equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND required years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
• Relevant years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external)
• Relevant years experience working on technical projects
• Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications)
• OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND required years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
• OR equivalent experience
• Threat protection, SIEM and Incident Response; Extended Detection and Response (XDR); Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR); Security Operation Center Management; Identity and Access Management; Cloud Infrastructure; Cloud Security; Data Security; Certification in one or more of the following technologies preferred: Microsoft 365 Security Administrator, Microsoft Security Operations, Cloud Security, CISSP, CCSP, CEH, OSCP, GSEC.

Preferred Microsoft Certifications:

• SC-401 or SC-400 or SC-100
