As a Real Estate Portfolio Manager for the Southeast Region, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of real estate activities—including planning, design, build/lease, operation, and maintenance—for Microsoft’s Southeast portfolio. You will partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver world-class workspaces and services, enabling employees to achieve their highest potential. This role drives strategic planning, optimizes portfolio performance, and ensures alignment with Microsoft’s global and regional goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of real estate and facilities services through vendor partnerships, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality outcomes.
- Drive strategic and operational planning for the Southeast Region portfolio, aligning with broader organizational goals.
- Collaborate across internal teams to ensure seamless service operations and stakeholder alignment.
- Oversee capital planning, budgeting, and financial accountability for real estate projects and services.
- Use data-driven insights to guide decisions and balance client needs with enterprise priorities.
- Build strong relationships with business leaders to deliver tailored real estate solutions.
- Promote continuous improvement in service quality, occupant experience, and operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Real Estate, Project Management, or related field AND 3+ years relevant experience OR 5+ years equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in vendor management and performance oversight.
- Willing and able to travel up to 35% of the time to support business needs.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and align regional strategies with business priorities.
- Strong skills in negotiation, influence, and stakeholder engagement at senior levels.
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and financial analysis.
- Clear and effective communicator with strong presentation capabilities.
- Skilled in building lasting relationships across business, partner, and stakeholder groups.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex challenges.
- Adaptable in dynamic environments with a strong customer focus and decision-making agility.
Real Estate Portfolio Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
