About The Position
Flinders University is seeking a motivated Administration Assistant: Exams, Achievement and Graduations to join the university wide Student Administration Services team in providing administration and student-centred support services across the student lifecycle, with a particular focus on university examinations and graduations.
In this position, you will also be responsible for:
- Assisting with the administration of a range of activities, including prizes and awards processes, and the set-up and delivery of University examination and graduation events.
- Providing consistent and effective customer support and advice to students, University staff, and the public regarding student administration matters to resolve enquiries efficiently.
- Administering academic transcripts, Australian Education Graduation Statements, and the posting and printing of testamurs.
About You
You will be an ambitious individual with high level communication skills and demonstrated experience in service provision. Your strong organisational skills will be key to your success, enabling you to balance competing demands and meet tight deadlines during peak periods in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will also demonstrate:
- A commitment to providing responsive, high-quality service and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating business systems, processes, and procedures and proposing solutions.
- Ability to interpret and follow rules and procedures within routine to somewhat complex work.
- Effective computing skills, including experience using computerised information systems to perform tasks requiring attention to detail, numeracy, and accuracy.
