Applied AI ML Senior Associate

We are seeking an Applied AI ML, Senior Associate to join our CDAO AI-ML Platform Engineering Team at the Jersey City, NJ or Delaware Technology Center in Wilmington, DE. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of AI and machine learning at JPMorgan Chase. You will be at the forefront of developing innovative AI solutions that drive business value and operational excellence.

As an Applied AI ML, SeniorAssociate within the CDAO AI-ML Platform Engineering Team, you will be a vital member of an agile team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining machine learning models using Generative AI Foundational models and MLOps pipelines. You will collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to ensure the successful development and monitoring of AI solutions that could be used on the enterprise AI ML Platform.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy robust machine learning models and MLOps pipelines to support various business applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and implement machine learning solutions that align with business goals.
• Ensure the operational stability and scalability of machine learning applications through effective monitoring, logging, and alerting practices.
• Develop and maintain documentation for model development, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
• Identify opportunities for automation and optimization in the ML lifecycle to enhance efficiency and reduce time to market.
• Foster a culture of innovation, diversity, and inclusion within the team by sharing knowledge and best practices.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Formal training or certification in machine learning, data science, or related fields with 3+ years of applied experience.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, with hands-on experience in machine learning libraries.
• Strong understanding of MLOps practices, including model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Experience with cloud services, particularly AWS, including but not limited to Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, S3, SQL, SNS and EC2.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) for automating the ML workflow.
• Experience with data pipelines and ETL processes, utilizing tools like Apache Airflow or similar.
• Experience with hands on engineering

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to tackle complex challenges.
