As a Product Controller- Analyst within the Product Control team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and partner with Finance, P&A, Risk, and other groups throughout the Firm. You will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of the firm’s books and records, focusing on general ledger, operating systems, and infrastructure controls across the entire lifecycle of the business.

Job Responsibilities:

 - Ensure all the month end journals are posted on a timely basis. 
- Calculate and oversee accruals and reversals. 
- Support the periodic Recovery & Resolution appendices and other US Regulatory submissions. 
- Review and test system enhancements for financial and regulatory reporting. 
- Establish strong relationships and provide support to Auto leaders, Finance, Project Managers, and related control groups. 
- Constructively escalate issues and present complex information in a clear and concise manner to Management. 
- Assist in implementation of new accounting standards and reporting requirements by staying current with evolving US GAAP and regulatory changes impacting the business. 
- Distribute and create financial reporting to support accounting and finance teams.
 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting 
  • Minimum 1 year experience in accounting department (internal or external) 
  • Ability to grasp concepts quickly, develop a plan, and execute for results
  • Solid problem solving, analytical, and creative thinking skills
  • Ability to summarize large amounts of data, formulate a concise message, and communicate clearly to Management
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • Primarily 2PM - 11PM shift, extending during critical business days

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

  • CA /CPA / MBA Finance candidate preferred.
  • Experience in the Controllers area in Retail Banking domain is preferred 
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP preferable
  • Proficiency in Excel, SAP and Hyperion Essbase preferred
