About The Role

We are looking for a high-energy, hands-on Sales Representative to drive our expansion across the BENELUX region.

This is a pure business development role, ideal for a natural deal-maker fluent in French and Dutch, with strong negotiation skills and a passion for building new relationships from scratch.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

New Business Hunting

  • Identify, target, and close large merchants in the BENELUX market.
  • Recruit and grow new distributors/partners to strengthen Market Pay’s footprint.
  • Proactively prospect new accounts via outreach, networking, and industry events.

Market Development

  • Execute targeted strategies to increase penetration in BENELUX.
  • Leverage your network to build long-term relationships with merchants, distributors, and ISVs.

Partner Recruitment

  • Build strategic partnerships with ISVs and distributors:
    • Conduct market analysis & segmentation.
    • Define budgets, KPIs, and go-to-market strategies.
    • Negotiate contracts and onboard new partners.
    • Identify new product opportunities (POS, e-commerce, integrations).

Pipeline Management

  • Maintain a structured sales pipeline with accurate forecasts.
  • Track milestones and report regularly on performance.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Sales Ops to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Lead complex negotiations with multiple stakeholders.

Technical Expertise

  • Advise clients on advanced payment solutions (POS systems, acquiring, e-commerce, integrations).

✅ Requirements

Experience

  • 7–10 years of new business sales with a strong hunter focus.
  • 5+ years in the payment solutions industry (acquiring, POS, e-commerce).
  • Proven track record closing large merchants and strategic distributor deals.
  • Knowledge of structured sales methodologies (MEDDICC, Challenger Sale, etc.).
  • Existing network with Tier 2 merchants and distributors in BENELUX.

  • Experience in retail and distribution sectors.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communicator and negotiator.

  • Fluent in French, Dutch, and English (other languages are a plus).
