Night Auditor

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform nightly audit procedures to verify and reconcile financial transactions, including guest accounts, cash, and credit card payments
• Prepare and review daily financial reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Handle guest check-ins and check-outs during overnight hours, providing professional and courteous service
• Address guest inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive guest experience
• Maintain security of the property by monitoring surveillance systems and conducting regular patrols
• Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and reporting as needed
• Follow all hotel policies and procedures to ensure compliance and safety

Skills And Qualifications:

• Previous experience in hospitality, accounting, or customer service preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Proficiency in hotel management software and basic computer skills
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or related fields is a plus

Requirements

Education/Formal Training:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

• 1+ year of experience in a hotel front desk or accounting role preferred.

Knowledge/Skills:

• Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle overnight shifts.
