Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in content program management, instructional design, certification design, or curriculum development, for training or educational content.
  • Experience working with higher education audiences (faculty, staff, and students).
  • Experience developing training content.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with various tech tools and an interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its applications in education.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and various content authoring tools.
  • Understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design principles.
  • Ability to conduct research, analyze data, and use insights to inform content strategy and development.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

We are hiring a program manager to develop training content for faculty in this transformation moment.
As a Content Program Manager, you will lead the development of training content for our higher education audiences. You will focus on empowering faculty, staff, and students with the knowledge and skills to utilize emerging technologies, with an emphasis on Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools.The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of new content and training programs supporting higher education audience (e.g., faculty, staff, and students).
  • Design and execute research methodologies (e.g., surveys, interviews, focus groups, literature reviews) to understand the training needs and preferences of faculty, staff, and students regarding tech tools and AI.
  • Collaborate with subject-matter-experts, instructional designers, and content creators to ensure the design, development, and release of training materials.
  • Evaluate and recommend platforms and technologies for content delivery, considering accessibility, user experience, for higher education institutions.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for training programs and establish methods for tracking learner engagement.
