What you’ll be doing (in a nutshell):

As our Senior Information Governance Executive, you’ll help embed a strong governance culture across Perkbox. You’ll be the go-to for privacy, compliance, and assurance matters - protecting data, supporting teams, and strengthening trust with clients every step of the way.

Day-To-Day You Can Expect To:

• Keep Perkbox aligned with the latest GDPR, FOI and ICO guidance
• Spot, escalate, and help manage privacy risks
• Provide first-line advice on information security queries, ensuring quick and clear guidance
• Support Sales and Client Assurance teams by delivering timely, accurate responses to DPIAs and questionnaires
• Keep our client trust centre updated and credible
• Oversee ISMS activity and recertification (ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials), ensuring we stay audit-ready
• Maintain governance frameworks and operational records that stand up to scrutiny
• Champion the value of privacy and governance - internally with colleagues and externally with clients

To Be Successful, You'Ll Have:

• Hands-on experience in information governance, data protection, or compliance - especially with DPIAs and security documentation
• Strong working knowledge of UK GDPR, DPA 2018, FOI, and ICO guidance
• Confidence handling client assurance requests - from questionnaires to trust centre updates
• Clear communication skills, making complex requirements simple and practical
• Strong organisational skills - comfortable juggling audits, certifications, and reporting
• A collaborative, detail-driven approach that builds trust across teams

Bonus Points If You Bring:

• Experience supporting ISMS audits and certifications (ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials)
• Client-facing governance expertise - confident engaging external stakeholders
• Familiarity with building governance frameworks or trust centres
• Background in a fast-paced or scaling organisation
• A problem-solving mindset, ready to turn grey areas into clear solutions

The Interview Process

Our interview process involves 4 main stages:

• Application
• Short call with a member of the TA team
• 30-minute video call with Hiring Manager and one other team member
• Final Interview and task with two members of the team
