Description

The Adult Services Senior Manager plays a key leadership role within the Adult Services division, providing direct supervision to Program Managers. Under the direction of the Deputy Program Officer, this position ensures the effective operation, quality assurance, and consistent implementation of programs and services. The Senior Manager fosters a high-performing, mission-driven team that delivers person-centered supports aligned with organizational goals, values and regulatory standards.

  • Pay Range: $72,000 - $75,000 annually
  • Hours: Full-Time/Exempt Monday-Friday 40 hours/week
  • Location: North Haven

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage all aspects of Adult (Enrichment and Employment) Services, both administrative and service delivery.
  • Ensure the implementation of programs and services to address the spectrum of needs for individuals served.
  • Collaborate with the DPO to identify training to support staff in the effective implementation of curricula and other learning systems.
  • Manage the relationships with community-based employers and Program Managers to effectuate services for individuals.
  • Ensure personnel needs of assigned area are met through effective hiring, training, evaluation, scheduling and supervision of staff.
  • Partner with DPO to oversee the quality of programmatic, health and habilitative services.
  • Review & monitor the quality of Individual Service Plans (IP) and outcomes to ensure the needs of persons served are met and services meet waiver requirements.
  • Assists the agency in meeting the financial objectives by monitoring program revenue and expenses and overseeing the use of funds to assure that program’s fiscal stability and budget performance.
  • Ensure building and vehicle maintenance related concerns impacting programming are effectively resolved through available channels.
  • Represents the agency at all required meetings, trainings, and professional assignments.
  • Participate as requested in activities that promote community awareness.
  • Maintains communication with other departments to provide ongoing mentorship, coaching, and support to frontline and managers to strengthen leadership capabilities, enhance team performance, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and values

Requirements

  • Degree from accredited college or university in related field preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in providing I/DD focused services or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years supervisory experience
  • Strong leadership, coaching, organizational, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations for adult and community-based services.
  • Experience with program operations, staff development, and performance management systems.
  • Demonstrated commitment to person-centered practices in leadership and program development.
  • Must be over 18 and possess a valid Connecticut driver’s license, have an acceptable driving history and be able to utilize your own vehicle for Lumibility business as defined by Lumibility’s policy.
  • Must have internet access, cell phone, and reliable transportation.
