Description
Balanced Body is hiring! We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our fast-paced, dynamic team. The Inventory Control Specialist will work to ensure our inventory levels match our system records, conduct internal audits, and investigate discrepancies.
To be successful in the position, you should be highly organized, able to collaborate with multiple departments, have strong analytical skills, and strong communication.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for tracking inventory and maintaining accurate inventory records
- Research any inventory discrepancies.
- Perform warehouse cycle counts and provide oversight of production cycle counts for various departments.
- Make inventory adjustments from the information gathered from the cycle counts.
- Assess and monitor warehouse transfer transactions and receiving packing slips.
- Experience creating and maintaining inventory reports (i.e., surplus, vendor return logs, inspection reports).
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications
The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to satisfactorily perform each essential duty:
- 3+ years of experience in Inventory Control in a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and math skills are a must.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Able to adapt to changing needs and priorities;
- Must be self-motivated and have a positive, solution-seeking attitude.
- Proficient with MS Office
- Experience with a large ERP system (MS BC)
- Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Experience driving a forklift is preferred.
- Must be able to drive (valid CDL) to multiple local warehouse locations.
This is a fully onsite role, the schedule is Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
