Amavida is recruiting for a hospitality focused Bartender to join our culinary team! This role provides full-scope, hands on serving functions within the community.
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Bartender:

- Always exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
- Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.
- Takes orders, provides service and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answers pertinent questions about menu and drink items.
- Clears all tableware from tables and bar after service.
- Cleans all glassware and dishes, including ashtrays, and distributes.
- Stocks, restocks and rotates supplies.
- Prepares garnishes for bar use. Prepares snack trays.
- Maintains all documents necessary to accurately account for resident and guest charges.
- Assists supervisor with inventory of supplies.
- Experience in food service work.
- Experience in working with seniors preferred.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions and communicate effectively.
- Experience bartending in a hotel, restaurant or club with fine dining experience preferred.
- Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and peers. Requires courtesy, tact and graciousness.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Schedule: Must have open availability. Evenings and Weekends are required!
Rate of Pay: Starting at $18/hr. based on experience
