Costa Navarino is looking for an Assistant Housekeeping Manager. The Assistant Housekeeping Manager is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, luxury, and comfort for all villa guests. This role supports the Housekeeping Manager/Operation Manager in overseeing operations, managing staff, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. The mission is to maintain a pristine, welcoming environment that reflects the ethos of Costa Navarino as a world-class luxury destination.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily housekeeping operations to ensure all villas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
  • Conduct inspections of villas, public areas, and staff quarters to ensure adherence to hygiene and service standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as Engineering and Front Office, Concierge, Club Managers to address maintenance issues and guest requests promptly.
  • Train, guide, and mentor housekeeping staff to meet Villa Residences Costa Navarino’s luxury standards.
  • Prepare work schedules, assign duties, and monitor staff performance.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff.
  • Address guest complaints or requests promptly and effectively, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Front Office, Concierge, Club Managers to prepare villas for VIP guests and fulfill special requests.
  • Monitor and implement personalized guest services, maintaining a log of preferences.
  • Monitor inventory levels for cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
  • Ensure timely procurement of required items while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Prepare and submit monthly inventory and expense reports to the Housekeeping Manager/Operation Manager.
  • Implement eco-friendly housekeeping practices to align with Costa Navarino’s sustainability initiatives.
  • Ensure all housekeeping activities comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Train staff on proper handling of chemicals, equipment, and emergency procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in housekeeping operations within a luxury hotel or resort.
  • Proven experience managing and training housekeeping teams.
  • Experience in villa or high-end residence housekeeping operations.
  • Familiarity with sustainable practices in housekeeping.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or a related field.
  • Certification in housekeeping operations or related training programs is an added advantage.
  • In-depth understanding of luxury housekeeping standards and best practices.
  • Familiarity with sustainable and eco-friendly housekeeping practices.
  • Knowledge of hygiene and safety regulations in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for guest and staff interaction.
  • Problem-solving skills to handle guest complaints and operational challenges.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure every villa reflects a pristine, luxurious standard.
  • Leadership: Inspire and manage a diverse team to deliver consistent excellence.
  • Guest Orientation: Prioritize guest satisfaction and handle requests with care.
  • Decision-Making: Make timely, effective decisions in operational matters.
