Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Clinical Oncology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 533220)

Duties And Responsibilities

  • lead and support clinical and translational research initiatives
  • develop, coordinate, and manage clinical trials in alignment with regulatory standards
  • draft and submit grant proposals to secure research funding
  • apply bioinformatics, biostatistics, and computational biology expertise to analyze complex datasets
  • ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory requirements for clinical research
  • provide leadership and mentorship to junior researchers
  • collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including clinicians, scientists, and industry partners
  • disseminate research findings through high-impact publications and presentations

Requirements

  • a Ph.D. degree in biomedical sciences, bioinformatics, clinical research or related field
  • strong clinical trial experience (design, execution, and regulatory submissions)
  • proficiency in bioinformatics, statistical analysis (R, Python, SAS, or similar)
  • fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • proven grant-writing success and ability to secure funding
  • strong academic track record (peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations)
  • leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team
  • excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • experience in translational research bridging lab discoveries to clinical applications
  • knowledge of regulatory frameworks (ICH-GCP, FDA, EMA, or local guidelines)
  • prior experience in multi-center trials or industry-academic collaborations

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a temporary basis for 1-3 year(s), with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
