What will you do?

The role of the Licensing Specialist is to assist in development and provision of the Therapeutic Foster Care training and oversee the processing of the identified Therapeutic Foster Care parents through screening and licensing requirements.

Licensing for TFC will screen candidates through orientations, home visits, and conduct TFC training and coordination of resource development.

You will carry a caseload and monitor the foster parents and their homes to stay in compliance with State standards.

The Licensing Specialist must be willing to be trained in many areas and in turn, train foster parents as well as keeping up with the ongoing training throughout the year.

You will complete a home study and develop an application to be reviewed by the State.

This position requires travel and some evening work.

Requirements

What qualifications do you need?

Bachelor Level Applicants:

• Must possess degree at the time of application.
• Degree must be in the human services field. Or two years’ experience with population served.
• Qualified Mental Health status required.
• Criminal records check, finger printing, and HCPR check is a prerequisite for

· Employment Consideration.

· MAPP or Deciding Together certificate preferred but will train the right candidate.

General Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a vehicle to deliver services.
• Must be able to actively participate in consumer activities.

Pay Rate? $45,000 - $55,000
