Platform Engineer - 12 Month FTC

Your opportunity

Join our Technology team as a Cloud Platform Engineer, where you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining our enterprise cloud platforms. This role is central to enabling scalable, secure, and reliable solutions that underpin Scentre Group’s digital transformation journey. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, Cloud Platform, you will collaborate across engineering and product teams to ensure our cloud platforms deliver value for the business and enhance the experience for our customers.

Day-to-day you will be responsible for:

• Designing, building, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure.
• Supporting the delivery of enterprise cloud solutions across multiple platforms.
• Automating and optimising cloud services to improve performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Partnering with engineering, data, and operations teams to enable best practice cloud adoption.
• Driving continuous improvement by challenging existing processes and introducing innovative solutions.

This role is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

What sets you apart
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong technical knowledge of cloud platforms (Hybrid, Azure & EntraID) and proven capability in delivering enterprise-scale solutions. You will bring deep expertise in automation, containerisation, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), CI/CD, on-premise, and cloud security. Tertiary qualifications in technology, computer science, or a related field are desirable, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
