Digital Engineering Manager (MEPF)

Key Responsibilities

Digital Engineering Operations

• Manage all aspects of the Digital Engineering Team and resource allocation across projects.
• Prepare and implement Digital Engineering Management Plans (DEMP).
• Lead MEPF-focused BIM modeling, design, and coordination efforts.
• Generate MEPF shop drawings (CSD, CBWD, ISD) and conduct clash analysis and construction simulation.
• Ensure adherence to client information requirements and ISO 19650 standards.
• Automate workflows for standards and productivity improvements.
• Provide quality checks on models, drawings, and information outputs.

Project Coordination

• Collaborate with project teams to define digital engineering and MEPF requirements.
• Monitor submissions of team deliverables, ensuring alignment with quality and project goals.
• Proactively manage changes in design scope and assist with commercial assessments.
• Oversee 2D and 3D files to ensure consistent interoperability between tools.

Leadership & Training

• Mentor, develop, and assess team competencies to enhance project delivery.
• Conduct staff and client training on BIM/Digital Engineering tools and workflows.
• Foster innovation and continuous improvement in team practices and outputs.

Qualifications & Skills

Education

• A Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering, Built Environment, Architecture, or equivalent.

Experience

• 5+ years in DE/BIM management with leadership roles.
• 8+ years in BIM modeling, coordination, and technical delivery with strong emphasis on MEPF systems.
• Proficiency in hands-on BIM tools, such as Revit, Civil 3D, Tekla, or similar.

Competencies

• Expertise in MEPF design and construction workflows.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Solid understanding of standards, including ISO 19650 and BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills with a passion for digital construction.
