Preferred Qualifications:• Experience or strong interest in digital communications, website management, digital accessibility, or UX design.
• Proficiency in WordPress is a plus, but a willingness to learn is essential.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as a self-starter and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
• Comfortable collaborating with team members in a remote work environment.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Position Summary/Job Duties:
- Web Content Management: Execute day-to-day content updates and edits on the department's websites using the WordPress content management system.
- Digital Accessibility:
- • Conduct manual and automated accessibility testing on websites and digital documents to ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards.
- • Remediate existing digital content to remove accessibility barriers.
- • Collaborate on the creation of new accessible digital resources.
- Administrative Support: Assist with content audits, including spreadsheet and database management, to maintain accurate and organized website data.
