Required• Fluent in French and English
• Terrific organizational skills, including attention to detail and punctuality
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
• Experience with interview translation and transcription
• Experience with qualitative coding and data analysis
• Knowledge of West African French dialect(s) and/or experience living/working in Francophone West Africa
• Knowledge of sexual and reproductive health
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Fluent in French and English
- Ability to manage self-directed remote work
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Position Summary/Job Duties:
This hire will be responsible for working with the PI and the research scientist on the translation of research transcripts from French to English. This hire may also be responsible for assisting with qualitative coding and analysis of interview transcripts in collaboration with the PI and research scientist. Work will be primarily remote with in-person meetings as needed. The PI is committed to both research excellence and mentorship, and there will be opportunities for this hire to carve off a portion of this project for themselves or otherwise lead a paper to publication with authorship if desired.
