• Proficiency in Spanish reading, writing, and speaking• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
• Problem-solving mindset and adaptability
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Background, education, or training in healthcare or health-related fields. For example, 1 year of experience in research, public health, community/nonprofit work, or a related field. This position is well suited for individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in graduate or medical education.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
• Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
Position Summary/Job Duties:
- • Interview transcript alignment and organization (primarily in Spanish): synchronizing written transcripts with the corresponding audio recording to create detailed, contextualized transcripts.
- • Preparing documents and materials for research activities
- • Assisting with recruitment efforts, including tabling at events and engaging with community members
- • Supporting other administrative tasks related to ongoing studies
- • The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in community-engaged research and contribute to projects focused health care access and accessibility.
