Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Construction Superintendent to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations at active construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with deep knowledge of construction practices and a passion for team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all on-site construction activities, subcontractors, and field personnel
• Maintain project schedules and coordinate tasks to meet deadlines
• Ensure work is performed according to specifications, building codes, and safety standards
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to address project needs and resolve issues
• Conduct daily site walkthroughs, enforce quality control, and maintain job site cleanliness
• Track materials, deliveries, and equipment needs to avoid delays
• Maintain accurate records of project progress, site conditions, and labor
• Represent Chris Woods Construction in a professional manner when interacting with clients and inspectors

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or similar leadership role in commercial construction  
• Proven track record managing commercial or industrial construction projects  
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, construction documents, and scheduling software  
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills  
• Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications  
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred  
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
