Work Shift

The Director, Nurse Access Center, provides leadership for the strategic planning, implementation, administration, and expansion of virtual nursing services across a large, multispecialty medical group. As a member of the Chief Nursing Officer's executive team, this role will be responsible for operational execution, strategic planning, regulatory compliance, and provider engagement, ensuring the effective integration of technology and nursing care delivery to enhance patient access, clinical quality, and operational efficiency. The Director collaborates with operations, information technology, telecommunications, education, and other multidisciplinary teams to optimize virtual care delivery.

The Director is a standard bearer for nursing empowerment, shared decision-making, and the creation and maintenance of a culture of professionalism that supports an engaged and committed clinical workforce. It is required that all nurse leaders are licensed, knowledgeable, and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and implement the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards put forth by the American Nurses Association. As a member of the Nursing Services team, it is expected that the individual upholds the voice of the patient, WMG, and system policies and procedures, while supporting service excellence goals.
