What we are looking for :
We are seeking a talented and passionate Bar Manager to oversee the beverage program and lead front-of-house operations across The Nine Orchard's bars and outlets. The Bar Manager will curate a dynamic beverage program, elevate the guest experience, and inspire the team to uphold MML’s standards of hospitality and service. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in cocktail culture, wine and spirits, and guest engagement.

What You’Ll Do:

- Lead, train, and motivate the bar and service teams to ensure professionalism, teamwork, and guest satisfaction.
- Educate staff on beverage knowledge, service standards, and responsible alcohol service.
- Foster a culture of accountability, growth, and excellence.
- Engage with guests to deliver memorable service and build lasting relationship.
- Resolve guest feedback promptly and professionally.
- Ensure seamless service flow, efficient seating, and overall guest satisfaction.
- Develop and implement SOPs to ensure consistent, high-quality service.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in compliance with health regulations.
- Analyze sales and costs to inform menu pricing and programming decisions.
- Partner with the kitchen and events teams to align offerings and support special events.
- Curate and maintain an exceptional beverage program, including signature cocktails, local spirits, craft beers, and fine wines.
- Introduce seasonal an innovative offerings that reflect New York’s vibrant beverage scene.
- Oversee inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships to ensure quality and profitability.
- Stay current with trends, products, and best practices in mixology and beverage culture.
- Prior supervisory or managerial experience in restaurants, bars, or hotels.
- Strong food and beverage knowledge, with expertise in cocktails, wine, and spirits.
- Proven ability to manage inventory, cost controls, and analyze sales performance.
- Certification in Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission and Texas Food Management required.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
- Frequently use hands/fingers to handle or operate objects, tools, or controls.
- Occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Specific vision abilities required: close, distance, color, peripheral, and focus adjustment.
- Noise level is typically moderate.
